This is a personal blog for my amusement and to keep me off the streets, but I want to mention a few things.

First, I talk about some serious issues, but this site is also about laughing at human failures and foibles, so don't take what you find on these pages too seriously. Humor and satire are for amusement and release.

Second, humor and satire are valuable because they provoke thought. Last time I checked, thinking is good, so why should we get angry when someone provokes us to think by satirizing something we do, say, represent, or believe in?

Third, well, I really don't have a third, but it just seems chincy to have only two points. If I think of a third, I'll let you know.
